Nope.  For some reason the Australian government and I think around 3 other countries on the whole planet decided that they knew better than nature and would be the ones to decide when the seasons start and end.

No equinox for us!

Australian “seasons” start about 3 weeks earlier than everywhere else.  Which is why you always hear Australians complaining about long summers.
