DISCLAIMER: Prolonged viewing my cause death from cuteness.

I volunteer rescuing strays and unwanted cats for the Cat Haven on and off… and I adopted my boys from there.  Lovely jubblies.

The Austrralian lyre bird can imitate the sound of pretty much anything.. camera shutters, chainsaws, kookaburras…

The bird would win all the talent shows.

The rescue of Mumbushi - my baby elephant brother!

God I’m just a blubbering mess now.. you may be too if you watch this, fair warning.. 

On 5th July 2011, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust received a call that an orphan baby elephant needed their help.

This film tells the story of the DSWT’s role in collecting the little elephant, Mumbushi, and bringing him back to the DSWT’s elephant orphanage in Nairobi National Park. Where he can receive the 24hr a day specialist care he needs, supported by other orphan elephants, if he is to overcome the physical and emotional trauma he’s experienced.
